Service Technician

JOB SUMMARY You will perform indoor and outdoor service jobs including commissioning, repair, troubleshooting, inspection, modification, and warranty checks for geared motors and related products. You will also train customers on product use and maintain a safe, clean workshop environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform commissioning, repair, troubleshooting, inspection, modification, and warranty checks on products both indoors and outdoors Prepare and issue detailed service reports for customer jobs completed indoors and outdoors Assemble and disassemble units to support maintenance and repair activities Deliver clear and concise training sessions to customers on product use and maintenance Investigate customer complaints related to product defects, failures, or non-conformance and recommend effective solutions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop area and equipment at all times Travel occasionally overseas to support adhoc activation projects Safely perform work at height at client sites, including climbing outdoor fireman ladders to access crane motors or platforms Carry and manage a toolbag weighing up to 10kg when visiting client sites REQUIREMENTS Minimum Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering with 1 year relevant work experience Physically fit to climb outdoor fireman ladders and carry tools weighing up to 10kg Able to conduct training on product use and maintenance in a clear and concise manner BENEFITS 14 days annual leave5-day work week (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM) Closed on eve/post of some public holidays with half-day annual leave deduction for full-day plant closures Variable and Annual Bonus Fixed monthly meal allowance of SGD80 Annual health screeningDental reimbursement Hospitalisation insurance Personal accident insurance Specialist treatment coverage in addition to GP outpatient medical reimbursements Mandatory training hours for each employee Opportunity to work overseas LOCATION SEW-EURODRIVE PTE.
