Casework & Counselling - Utilise relevant casework theories into practice - Engage, assess, provide intervention and evaluate practice - Assess client’s risks, needs, level of functioning and systemic intervention needed - Understand youth at risk of juvenile delinquency and manage associated risk and protective factors - Demonstrate reflective practice - Conduct outreach and engage client’s family, where applicable, to develop action plans to support the client - Engage other relevant agencies to support the client holistically and sustainably - Ensure proper documentation and report-writing 2. Group Work - Prepare and plan groupwork sessions/intervention - Implement groupwork intervention effectively - Evaluate groupwork intervention processes and outcomes, group dynamics and needs - Respond to the needs of the groups and individuals in groupwork practice - Able to facilitate group discussions and project work confidently with challenging clients 3.
