Asst Manager/Manager, Finance

Job Summary Lead the Finance team to deliver accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial management supporting business growth and operational excellence at SBSC. Responsibilities Direct the Finance team by setting clear strategic goals and providing ongoing guidance to enhance team performance and collaboration across departments Drive process improvements within the Finance team to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations Oversee statutory and management financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations Manage budgeting, forecasting, treasury, fixed assets, inventories, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to maintain financial health Prepare, review, and analyze management reports and financial statements to inform senior management decisions Lead year-end statutory audits by coordinating audit preparation, documentation, and liaising with auditors Maintain and update internal controls and financial policies to ensure robust compliance and risk management Manage taxation matters including withholding tax, corporate income tax reviews, and responding to IRAS queries Conduct financial analyses to support senior management in strategic planning and decision-making Support annual budgeting processes and contribute to special projects such as system implementations Required competencies and certifications Degree in Accountancy or ACCA/ISCA/CA qualification Minimum 4 years of relevant experience including at least 1 year in a supervisory role Strong knowledge of accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred competencies and qualifications Exposure to the healthcare industry Basic knowledge or understanding of Power Query, Power Pivot, and Excel VBA Macros
