Procurement & Logistics Executive

Company Overview SOLARGY PTE. LTD. Job Summary Manage end-to-end procurement and logistics to support SolarGy’s project execution by sourcing materials cost-effectively, ensuring quality compliance, and coordinating timely delivery with suppliers and project teams. Responsibilities Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for PV components, equipment, and related materials to meet project needs Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to secure cost-effective procurement Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) following company procedures to ensure compliance Verify procured items meet technical specifications, quality standards, and project requirements Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers to ensure reliable supply Monitor supplier performance on cost, quality, and delivery reliability and resolve supply issues such as delays and defects Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation for audit and traceability Collaborate with Project and Operations teams to plan and fulfill material requirements for ongoing and urgent projects Maintain accurate inventory records and track material issuance to ensure proper cost allocation and accountability Manage loan stock by ensuring timely return and proper reconciliation Plan and coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery aligned with project schedules Consolidate shipments and optimize delivery planning to reduce costs and carbon footprint Manage import/export processes including shipment documentation and customs clearance Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery execution and avoid storage charges Preferred competencies and qualifications Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field 1–2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles Experience in construction, electrical, or metal works industry Strong negotiation and cost management skills demonstrated through supplier contract discussions High attention to detail and strong documentation discipline to maintain procurement records Analytical capability for cost comparison and supplier evaluation to support sourcing decisions Effective coordination and communication skills to collaborate with project teams and suppliers
