Temp Manager/Senior Manager, Special Project Planning

Sports Masterplan Development and Engagement • Responsible for end-to-end project management of an engagement exercise. • Monitor and review project progress, identifying, assessing, and recommending options to address potential roadblocks. • Work with the Ministry Sector Lead to support the Working Committee and coordinate with member government agencies. • Synthesize insights gathered across all engagement phases to support the development of concrete recommendations. 2. Corporate planning • Formulate and monitor strategic plans in service of corporate vision and whole-of-government outcomes. • Work with business units on budget management and resource allocation to achieve desired outcomes and KPIs. • Facilitate generative dialogues on innovative and strategic topics to engage the leadership and key stakeholders. 3. Board Secretariat • Responsible for coordination of agenda and hosting of board meetings. • Manage administrative matters such as board remuneration preparation, member induction, event invitations etc. 4. Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Team • Managed overall risk assessment and monitoring as part of ERM Team. • Develop guidance for groups to complete their risk register review. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following; • A Business Administration / Public Policy qualification or equivalent • Experience in strategic planning, business planning or policy analysis. • At least 8 years of relevant working experience. • Proven working experience as a project administrator in multi-disciplinary projects. • Experience in a complex business environment. • Good understanding of Singapore sport ecosystem. • Self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. • Strong analytical skills and good business acumen. • Excellent oral and written communication with good interpersonal skills. Able to deal with numbers. • Resourceful and able to work independently as well as a team. • Proficient computer skills (standard software applications such as MS Office, email communications and internet research). Successful candidate will be offered a 8-month contract in the first instance with option for extension.
