About this role

Role Overview The CHRO is a strategic executive leader responsible for developing and executing the global human capital strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction. The CHRO oversees all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, organizational development, culture and engagement, compensation and benefits, performance management, succession planning, learning and development, employee relations, and HR operations. The CHRO serves as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team and plays a critical role in shaping a high-performance, inclusive, and values-driven workplace culture. Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with organizational global goals and growth objectives. Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team globally and in HQ (China) on organizational design, workforce planning, and business transformation initiatives. Lead change management efforts to support organizational agility and scalability. Drive initiatives that strengthen company culture, employee engagement, and employer branding. Talent Management Oversee end-to-end talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent globally. Design succession planning and leadership development frameworks. Establish performance management systems that drive accountability and continuous improvement. Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives across the organization. Employee Experience & Culture Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment. Develop policies and programs that enhance employee wellbeing, engagement, and retention. Act as a steward of organizational values and culture. Compensation & Benefits Lead compensation and benefits strategy to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity. Oversee executive compensation planning in partnership with the Board or Compensation Committee. Ensure compliance with all compensation-related regulations and reporting requirements. HR Operations & Compliance Ensure HR policies, systems, and practices comply with local labor laws and regulatory requirements. Oversee HR technology systems, analytics, and reporting capabilities. Mitigate organizational risk through sound employee relations and governance practices. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Build and lead a high-performing HR team. Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders on people-related matters. Present HR insights, workforce metrics, and strategic recommendations to the Board and executive stakeholders. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including senior executive-level responsibilities. Proven track record of leading HR strategy in a complex, fast-paced organization in manufacture or renewable energy industry. Strong knowledge of employment laws globally (APAC, Europe, Americas, Middle East, etc), organizational development, compensation practices, and talent management. Experience driving culture transformation and change management initiatives. Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Able to travel frequently.
