Application Technology Specialist (AWS)

We are looking for an Application Technology Specialist with hands-on experience working in an AWS environment. In this role, you will support application technology refresh initiatives, work closely with software vendors and internal stakeholders, and ensure enterprise applications are delivered and operated successfully on AWS. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with application support, technical delivery, or infrastructure backgrounds who have practical AWS experience. Key Responsibilities Support application technology refresh and modernization initiatives within an AWS environment. Work closely with software vendors, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful application delivery. Coordinate application deployment activities and technical implementation. Review solution designs and technical documentation to ensure alignment with project requirements. Support SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-implementation activities. Investigate and coordinate the resolution of technical issues with vendors and internal teams. Participate in technical discussions involving Java-based enterprise applications deployed on AWS. Assess the impact of application changes and coordinate implementation activities. Ensure applications meet operational, security, and performance standards. Support project managers with technical coordination and delivery. Job Requirements 3–6 years of experience in application support, application management, technical delivery, or software implementation. Experience working in an AWS environment. Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, or CloudWatch. Basic understanding of Java applications and enterprise application architecture. Experience working with software vendors or third-party development teams. Exposure to application deployment and production support activities. Experience in banking or financial services is an advantage. Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
