We're Hiring: General Manager – Ammākase (Fine Dining Restaurant) Lead One of Singapore's Most Innovative Neo-Indian Dining Experiences ammākase is seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead the overall operations and strategic growth of our award-winning Neo-Indian omakase restaurant. This is an opportunity for an experienced hospitality leader who is passionate about delivering world-class guest experiences, developing high-performing teams, and driving commercial success. Key Responsibilities - Provide strategic leadership across all restaurant operations. - Drive revenue growth, profitability, and business performance through effective financial management. - Deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. - Lead, mentor, and develop both front-of-house and back-of-house teams. - Oversee budgeting, cost control, inventory management, procurement, and P&L performance. - Develop and execute marketing, partnership, and business development initiatives. - Ensure compliance with all food safety, workplace safety, and regulatory requirements. - Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to continuously enhance the guest journey and dining concept. - Build a strong service culture centred on excellence, innovation, and attention to detail. Requirements - Minimum 12–14 years of progressive experience in the Food & Beverage or Hospitality industry. - At least 5 years in a senior management role such as General Manager, Operations Manager, Restaurant Director, or Director of Food & Beverage. - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. An MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage. - Proven experience managing premium dining, fine dining, luxury hospitality, or Michelin-recognised establishments. - Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and profit & loss statements. - Demonstrated success in leading large teams and building a high-performance culture. - Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Strong understanding of restaurant operations, wine and beverage programmes, service excellence, and guest relations. - Experience in opening new concepts, business transformation, or multi-unit operations will be an added advantage. - Passion for innovation, creativity, and delivering unforgettable dining experiences.
