About the Role We are partnering with a leading organisation in Singapore's financial sector to hire an experienced System Analyst to support and maintain mission-critical enterprise applications. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of business-critical systems while supporting ongoing enhancements, system upgrades, and production operations. Working within an Agile environment, you will collaborate closely with business users, technical teams, and vendors to deliver reliable IT services and continuous improvements. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications to ensure system stability and service availability. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal technical teams to deliver production support and operational services. Manage incident, problem, change, release, and service request processes while ensuring agreed service levels and operational standards are achieved. Review system designs, technical specifications, and solution documentation to ensure business and technical requirements are accurately addressed. Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and work with technical teams to implement preventive and corrective measures. Plan, coordinate, and support system implementations, application deployments, software upgrades, infrastructure changes, and security patching activities. Validate software patches, system enhancements, and application releases before deployment into production environments. Monitor application performance, system availability, and operational metrics, identifying opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement. Collaborate with business users, developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to support successful project delivery. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and production support documentation. Requirements Essential Skills & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in application production support or system support within enterprise environments. Hands-on experience supporting Java and .NET applications across Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems. Experience managing incident management, problem management, release management, change management, deployment activities, and root cause analysis. Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery methodologies. Experience working closely with business users, development teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors. Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. Familiarity with application servers including IIS and IBM WebSphere Application Server. Strong technical troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to perform well under pressure within a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Candidates with experience in the following areas will have a strong advantage: Enterprise application support within financial services, banking, government, or other highly regulated industries. System integration across multiple enterprise platforms and technologies. Production deployment planning and release coordination. Performance monitoring, system health checks, and service optimisation. IT service management processes aligned with ITIL best practices. Vendor management and outsourced service delivery. Application security patch management and vulnerability remediation. Preferred Certifications The following certifications will be advantageous: ITIL Foundation Certification ITIL Intermediate or ITIL 4 Certification Other relevant certifications in Application Support, System Administration, Cloud Technologies, or Enterprise IT Operations.
