Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities Design, develop and enhance digital applications for government projects. Work closely with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to deliver user-focused solutions. Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions. Design system architecture and integrate applications with external systems. Develop clean, reliable and maintainable code while following software engineering best practices. Review code, troubleshoot technical issues, and support application enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects using Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies. Monitor production systems, resolve incidents, and improve system reliability. Contribute ideas to improve engineering practices, technologies, and development processes. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in software development, system design, and application integration. Hands-on experience with one or more programming languages/frameworks such as Go, .NET, TypeScript, Angular or ReactJS. Experience with cloud technologies and modern software development practices (CI/CD, DevOps, Agile). Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Able to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. Experience with GitLab CI/CD, SHIP-HATS, AWS, Terraform, Docker, APEX or Cloud File Transfer (CFT) is an added advantage.
