Responsibility and Requirements: Java (Core, Spring Boot, Microservices), Hibernate SQL (query writing, optimization, performance tuning) Kafka (understanding of messaging/transactions) Exception handling and API security (auth/authorization) Platform / Tools Monitoring: Splunk / Kibana / logs DevOps: Jenkins, OpenShift/Kubernetes (basic to intermediate) Database: MariaDB or other RDBMS Functional Knowledge Exposure to Core Banking systems Understanding of transaction processing and application criticality Basic understanding of interest calculations (Savings/Current) Additional Skills Knowledge of ACID properties Understanding of scalability (vertical & horizontal) Ability to design/debug distributed systems Strong problem-solving and communication skills Mandatory Requirements: Strong in Java, debugging, SQL, and troubleshooting Experience in production support (L2/L3) Ability to handle critical banking applications and P1 incidents
