We are looking for a Laboratory Technologist to join the team to work on the enzyme engineering and synthetic biology research mainly focusing on red yeast (Rhodotorula toruloides) and Pichia pastoris. Responsibilities: Perform recombinant DNA workflows in E. coli and yeasts Genetic transformation and functional validation of yeast strains, particularly Pichiapastoris and Rhodotorula toruloides. Assist in general lab maintenance duties Requirements: A diploma or B.Sc. in biotechnology or microbiology A fast learner with keen interest to develop a career path in biotechnology or food technology Salary and benefits are commensurable to educational qualifications and working experience of the candidates.
