Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager (Finance) We are looking for a hands-on finance professional to oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of invoices, payments, and expense claims, while supporting financial reporting and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships. Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the AP team, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, SOPs, and statutory requirements. Manage end-to-end AP processes, including invoice verification, expense claims, payment processing, vendor reconciliations, and month/year-end closing. Ensure accurate 3-way matching and proper recording of goods received in the Oracle system prior to payment. Oversee processing and allocation of E-Conference claims to approved cost centres. Maintain compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and GST regulations. Investigate and resolve payment issues while managing vendor relationships. Partner with internal stakeholders on grant-related matters and submissions. Collaborate with the GL team on reconciliations and financial reporting. Prepare AP reports, audit schedules, and variance analyses. Support internal and external audits. Drive process improvements and support system implementations. Perform ad hoc duties as required. Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 8–10 years of AP experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience managing high-volume, time-sensitive transactions. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and GST. Experience with Oracle EBS or similar systems is an advantage. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently and in teams.
