PMO Lead (Contract) We are seeking an experienced PMO Lead to drive programme governance and oversee the successful delivery of multiple technology initiatives within a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role requires a strategic thinker who can operate independently, provide recommendations to senior stakeholders, and ensure programmes are delivered effectively through strong governance and leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead PMO governance across multiple projects and programmes, ensuring delivery aligns with business objectives. Oversee programme planning, execution, project health, risks, dependencies and resource allocation across the portfolio. Establish, maintain and continuously improve PMO governance frameworks, standards, methodologies and best practices. Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate high-level requirements into structured project plans and delivery roadmaps. Drive executive reporting, portfolio dashboards and governance forums for senior management. Identify programme risks, issues and dependencies, providing proactive mitigation plans and recommendations. Facilitate steering committee meetings and provide regular updates to senior leadership on programme progress and key decisions. Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, technical teams and vendors to ensure successful programme delivery. Mentor and guide Project Managers and PMO team members while promoting governance, accountability and continuous improvement. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Project Management or a related discipline. Minimum 8 years of experience in Project Management, Programme Management or PMO, with at least 3 years in a PMO Lead, Programme Manager or similar leadership role . Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects and enterprise-wide programmes. Strong experience in programme governance, portfolio management, project delivery, risk management and executive reporting. Ability to analyse complex business requirements and translate them into structured delivery plans. Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior business and technology leaders. Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving abilities with the confidence to influence decisions and drive outcomes. Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or Scrum certifications will be an advantage. Preferred Experience Experience in enterprise IT, digital transformation or application delivery programmes. Experience working with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies. Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Power BI and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience managing cross-functional teams, external vendors and enterprise stakeholders.
