Key Responsibilities: Has experience teaching English and other Primary subjects within a bilingual or dual-language programme.(Mandarin language proficiency is not required for this role.) Experience working in an immersive English–Mandarin bilingual environment would be advantageous. Demonstrates an understanding of how bilingual learners acquire language and access the curriculum across subjects. Understands the progression of English language and literacy development within a bilingual or multilingual classroom context. Able to adapt teaching approaches to support students with varying levels of English language proficiency. Create a learning environment where students engage in ongoing learning and reflection. Communicate and cooperate with staff and parents to support student success. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs. Arrange the classroom and materials according to school guidelines and maintain attractive displays to enhance the learning environment. Organize external learning opportunities, such as outdoor learning trips. Assess, track, and report on student progress and behavior, providing feedback and setting improvement goals. Prepare and present class assemblies and grade-level performances or productions. Contribute to the extracurricular programme (ECAs) Provide pastoral care and support for students, ensuring their well-being. Maintain high standards of behavior, ensuring students' health and safety, and use positive reinforcement in line with school policies. Attend required staff meetings, workshops, and school events, including some weekends and evenings. Participate in professional development and improvement committees to enhance teaching practice.
