Location: Bedok South, Singapore Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027 About the Role A primary school in Bedok South is seeking an ICT Specialist specialising in robotics to support its robotics programmes, Innovation Studio and related teaching and learning activities. The successful candidate will conduct robotics training and lessons, manage robotics equipment, prepare programme materials and coach students participating in external robotics competitions. Key Responsibilities Manage the inventory of robotics equipment and resources, including stock-taking, loans and returns Oversee the organisation, maintenance and day-to-day readiness of the Innovation Studio Conduct robotics lessons, training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities for staff and students Prepare lesson materials, presentation slides, handouts and other resources for robotics programmes Coach, guide and accompany students participating in external robotics competitions Identify and evaluate new robotics tools and technologies that may support teaching and learning Liaise with robotics vendors where required Provide progress and programme outcome updates to the Head of Department (Science) Support video and photo editing tasks as directed by the Head of Department (Science) Perform other relevant duties in support of the school’s robotics and Science programmes Requirements Current registration with the Ministry of Education (MOE) is mandatory At least one year of experience coaching robotics to children and/or adults Experience coaching students for robotics competitions Relevant knowledge and competency in robotics-related fields Certification in building-block robotics platforms Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to students with varying levels of ability Good organisational skills, particularly in inventory and asset management Preferred Competencies Familiarity with current robotics competition formats and age-appropriate platforms, such as WRO, FLL or VEX Experience working in a school or youth-focused educational environment Proficiency in basic video and photo editing software Work Arrangements Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 2.00pm, inclusive of a 45-minute lunch break Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
