About the Role The Talent People Pte. Ltd. is hiring an AVA Executive for a government-aided secondary school located in Toa Payoh. The appointed candidate will support the school’s audio-visual, media, classroom technology and event requirements, including AV setup, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, video editing, inventory management and technical support for school activities. Key Responsibilities Usage Support Services Provide audio, visual and media support for school-wide events and activities, including assemblies, performances and special events. Create and edit videos in accordance with school requirements. Conduct hands-on training for staff on classroom technology setup, including AV equipment and Apple TV. Support class technology representatives and the Infocomm Club CCA. Assist with AV/IT setup for National Examinations. Assist the ICT Manager in troubleshooting student and staff Personal Learning Device (PLD) issues, including Device Management Application (DMA) matters. Maintenance Services Perform scheduled maintenance and assess the usability of AVA equipment, including audio, visual, video and media equipment. Maintain AVA equipment across classrooms and specialised rooms, including the AVA room, General Office PA system, hall and indoor sports hall sound systems. Liaise with school personnel and external vendors on servicing, installation, procurement and repairs of AV/IT equipment. Troubleshooting Services Provide technical support when classroom equipment fails, including projectors, visualisers and Apple TV units. Administrative and Housekeeping Services Facilitate equipment loans to students and staff for official school activities. Maintain loan records, maintenance reports, machine logs, inventory tagging records and equipment functionality records. Conduct routine inspections and cleaning of fixed AV/IT equipment in classrooms and specialised rooms. Assist in receiving and checking deliveries of equipment from suppliers. Requirements Minimum 1 year of relevant AV experience in a school environment. Able to communicate effectively in English for work-related instructions, documentation and coordination. Applicants should be legally eligible to work in Singapore at the point of application. Preferred Competencies Experience in a Singapore school setting. Technical proficiency in sound systems, including PA systems, microphones and amplifiers. Familiarity with projection systems, including LCD projectors and visualisers. Experience supporting hall, assembly or school event AV setups. Ability to perform video filming, video editing and sound editing. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, iMovie or CapCut. Familiarity with Apple TV, iOS device management and classroom wireless projection. Experience with live event streaming and virtual event platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. Experience with logistics, inventory management and asset tagging. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace. Work Arrangements Location: Toa Payoh Contract Period: 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027 Contract Duration: 12 months Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1-hour lunch break Friday: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1-hour lunch break Rest Days: Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays Salary Range: S$2,400 to S$2,800 per month, commensurate with experience Application Interested candidates may submit their CV and completed application form to zack@thetalentpeople.co.
