Assistant Executive / Executive (A&H)

Responsibilities: Team 1 Underwriter A will be given a panel of intermediaries, including Financial Advisors, and will assist the Team 2 Lead Underwriter. The principal accountabilities are as below: Underwrite new A&H business in accordance with the underwriting guidelines and objectives; Liaising, advising and servicing (Including rapport building) intermediaries/insureds on A&H insurance matters; Reviewing renewal policies with claims record; Monitor and review own portfolio to ensure profitable growth in line with company targets; Provide guidance and coaching to junior underwriters and administrative assistants; Provide support to Team Lead Underwriter and other underwriters as required; Any other responsibilities as assigned by Team Lead Underwriter and/or Department Head. Requirements: Fresh graduates with a strong interest in insurance underwriting are also encouraged to apply. Attractive remuneration package will be offered based on experience and suitability. Complete MAS-required qualifications to provide advice on insurance matters; Good technical knowledge of A&H underwriting factors; Strong communication and client management skills. Team player with good multitasking abilities and willingness to learn.
