Maintenance Engineer, Instrumentation (Chemical)

Permanent position, Salary up to $5,500 Based in Jurong Island Key Responsibilities Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities for instrumentation systems to ensure safe and reliable plant operations. Plan, coordinate, and execute major maintenance works while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational integrity. Work closely with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure maintenance activities are completed efficiently with minimal disruption to production. Perform instrumentation studies, troubleshooting, and implement modifications to plant facilities in accordance with technical specifications and business requirements. Conduct technical training and competency development programmes for staff and contractors. Support the implementation and continuous improvement of management systems in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and SS651 standards. Respond promptly to plant emergencies and troubleshoot instrumentation issues within tight operational timelines. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline. 3–5 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance within the refinery, petrochemical, chemical, power, or construction industries. Experience with Process Gas Chromatograph (PGC) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) will be an added advantage.
