About this role
Job Responsibilities: Review approved credit facilities and prepare or verify loan-related documentation, including facility letters, amendments, variations, and restructuring documents, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and lending requirements. Examine mortgage and security documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to loan disbursement, and coordinate with legal firms and relevant stakeholders throughout the documentation process. Process and monitor loan disbursements within the required turnaround time while ensuring operational accuracy. Track outstanding security documents, follow up with external parties where necessary, and ensure proper custody and safekeeping of original documents. Process and verify loan-related transactions, including CPF-related matters, ensuring all entries are accurately recorded. Coordinate the processing and valuation subsidies upon completion of documentation requirements. Perform system-related activities, including loan account maintenance and account closure for loan conversion exercises. Review daily and monthly operational reports to ensure data integrity and resolve any discrepancies identified. Prepare periodic operational reports and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) or system enhancement initiatives when required. Provide operational support to the team, including guidance to junior staff and coverage for the Team Lead during periods of absence. Job Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Accountancy, or a related discipline. Experience in mortgage operations, loan administration, or banking operations will be advantageous. Good understanding of mortgage documentation, loan processing, and banking operational procedures. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks within established timelines. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
