We are seeking a motivated and responsible Project Engineer to manage and coordinate construction projects from planning through completion. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities ● Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily site activities to ensure smooth project execution. ● Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to the project schedule. ● Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities. ● Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents. ● Prepare work schedules, method statements, risk assessments, and project documentation. ● Monitor project quality and ensure compliance with contract specifications and company standards. ● Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies. ● Attend site meetings, progress meetings, and technical coordination meetings. ● Resolve technical and site issues promptly and provide practical engineering solutions. ● Monitor project costs, material usage, and subcontractor performance. ● Prepare progress reports, site records, and other project documentation. ● Assist in project planning, procurement, testing, commissioning, and project handover. ● Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager. Requirements ● Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. ● Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry (fresh graduates are welcome to apply for junior positions). ● Good knowledge of Singapore construction practices, BCA and MOM regulations. ● Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications. ● Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage. ● Familiarity with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is an added advantage. ● Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. ● Able to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines. ● A team player with good interpersonal skills. ● Willing to work at construction sites across Singapore. ● Possession of a valid Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.
