Senior Distributed Platform Engineer (Up To $15,000 Base + Bonus And More)

Responsibilities Architect and build distributed systems for real-time data streaming, telemetry, and large-scale compute orchestration Design and scale cloud simulation infrastructure and training pipelines Build reliable, fault-tolerant backend services that operate under production constraints Optimise system performance, latency, and throughput across distributed clusters Collaborate with research and product teams to translate requirements into scalable system designs Own the reliability and operational health of the systems you build Requirements Must-Have: 7+ years of experience in distributed systems engineering Proven track record working on a tech stack that has shipped to market (not just internal tooling or prototypes) Strong proficiency in at least two of: Go, Rust, C++, Python Deep experience with Kubernetes, gRPC, and distributed messaging systems (e.g. Kafka) Comfortable with cloud infrastructure, object storage, and compute orchestration (e.g. Ray) Strong sense of ownership and ability to operate independently Nice-to-Have: Experience with GPU cluster management or ML training infrastructure Background in real-time systems or simulation infrastructure Familiarity with distributed storage systems or data lake architectures Experience scaling systems from early-stage to production at a startup or growth-stage company Additional Information Flat organisational structure with fast decision-making and straightforward approvals Equity compensation (ESOP with 5-year vesting, 1-year cliff) Performance bonuses twice a year, including during probation (pro-rated) Flexible leave policy Working on a product, not a service Tyson Jay Management Pte Ltd | EA License No.: 24C2479 Ivan Lim | EA Personnel No.: R1109856
