About this role

We are looking for a customer-focused Desktop & Workplace Support Engineer to provide onsite and remote technical support for customers' endpoint computing environments, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and workplace technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, technical teams, and the Sales team to deliver high-quality IT support and provide technical expertise during solution design, demonstrations, and customer engagements. Key Responsibilities Technical Support & Service Delivery Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, workstations, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and application issues. Install, configure, deploy, and maintain endpoint devices. Perform device imaging, software packaging, patch management, and operating system upgrades. Support Microsoft Windows environments, Microsoft 365 applications, and endpoint security solutions. Troubleshoot network connectivity, VPN, wireless, and access-related issues. Coordinate hardware replacements, warranty claims, and break-fix activities. Ensure incidents and service requests are resolved within agreed service levels. Maintain accurate documentation of customer environments, incidents, and resolutions. Requirements Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Relevant experience in desktop support, endpoint engineering, workplace support, or a similar technical support role. Experience supporting enterprise desktop and laptop environments. Hands-on experience with endpoint deployment and device management tools. Strong knowledge of: Microsoft Windows 10/11Microsoft 365Active Directory Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)Microsoft Intune Microsoft Endpoint Manager SCCM / MECMVPN and networking fundamentals Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Able to work independently and manage multiple customer engagements. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate. Microsoft 365 certification. ITIL Foundation certification. CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification. Experience supporting pre-sales activities or solution consulting engagements.
