Regulatory Compliance, VP

Our Client Our Client is a leading financial institution with presence in Europe, US and Asia. Currently, they are looking for a Regulatory Compliance, VP and this person will be responsible for establishing and implementing a robust compliance program to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and internal policies. Job Description Responsible for handling submissions, regulatory enquiries, audits and maintain good working relationship with the regulatory authorities, including coordination for any regulator’s on-site inspection, if required Lead and support applications for Fintech-related business licenses in jurisdictions where the organisation conducts its international businesses Provide sound advice and recommendations to relevant stakeholders on matters pertaining to regulatory and licensing issues for the licensed payment institutions Identify and manage compliance and regulatory risks, act as a point of escalation for any policy and regulatory breaches to senior management Responsible for formulating, reviewing, and maintaining compliance framework, policies, and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant laws and regulations Conduct periodic internal compliance trainings and compliance risk assessments Requirements Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance or equivalent At least 7 – 12 years of relevant compliance, regulatory or similar experience Strong regulatory/compliance knowledge and skills Knowledge of Fintech, payment institutions, payment systems, and similar legal and regulatory requirements in Singapore Team player and ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines Experience in liaising with Singapore regulators preferred Experience with e-commerce, payments or financial services preferred Some travelling to be expected Knowledge of capital market services licensees regulatory requirements preferred
