About this role

Can start work immediately Job Objective: Support customers, address enquiries and facilitate transactions to cater to customers’ needs (process sales orders) Core Responsibilities: Account Management Build relationships with existing customers by understanding their needs and assisting with their queries Manage customer orders and communicate requirements to internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Quality Assurance, Logistics, Product Development) Update customers of the status of shipments, monitor their credit terms and assist with the collection of payments Receive all customer-supplied items delivered to the plant, and arrange delivery or self-collection of products Plan material schedule for key private label customers Prepare costing, quotations and administrative duties of the Business Development department Verify and endorse purchase orders and process sales orders Analyse customer order history, monitor repeat orders, take actions to understand situation and alert the Business Development Manager/Senior BD Executive on follow-up actions Manage SAP B1 system and update relevant information (orders) for production and internal stakeholders Job Specifications: Minimum education qualifications: Diploma in any discipline Bachelor’s degree in any discipline an advantage Minimum years of experience: 2 years of relevant experience in Business Development for diploma or degree holders Previous sales / customer service / telesales experience will be a plus Key job-specific competency requirements: #Proactive in building relationships and proposing solutions Highly meticulous and able to meet tight deadlines Good interpersonal skills Good analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in verbal and written English and/or Mandarin to be able to interact with customers effectively Basic proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel Knowledge of SAP B1 an advantage
