Accounts Assistant

Occupation: Accounts Assistant About Us United Pest & Vector Management Pte Ltd is an established pest management company in Singapore, providing professional pest control services to residential, commercial, industrial, and food & beverage sectors. We are seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, and motivated Accounts Assistant to support our Finance and Administration Department. Key Responsibilities Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). Prepare, process, and issue invoices, receipts, debit notes, and credit notes. Verify supplier invoices and process payments accurately and promptly. Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, and supplier statements. Maintain proper accounting records and ensure all financial documents are filed systematically. Assist in month-end closing, financial reporting, and preparation of management reports. Monitor outstanding customer payments and follow up on overdue accounts. Prepare payment vouchers, petty cash records, and expense claims. Support GST reporting and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures. Liaise with customers, suppliers, auditors, and internal departments on finance-related matters. Provide administrative support to the Finance Department and perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by management. Job Requirements Minimum Diploma or LCCI in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. At least 1 year of relevant accounting or finance experience. Fresh graduates with accounting qualifications are welcome to apply. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel. Experience with accounting software (such as Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or AutoCount) will be an advantage. Good analytical, organisational, and time management skills. Meticulous, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
