Software Test Engineer

About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The ideal candidate will work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, and Project Managers to identify issues, improve product quality, and deliver excellent user experiences. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing Identify, document, track, and verify software defects Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and expected functionality Conduct manual and/or automated testing for web and mobile applications Ensure software quality standards and testing best practices are followed Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective Support release testing and production validation Analyze test results and prepare testing reports Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC Experience with manual testing and defect tracking tools Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar Knowledge of API testing and database validation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and communication abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript, Java, or Python Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments Understanding of performance and security testing concepts ISTQB or other QA certifications are a plus Experience testing SaaS, mobile, or enterprise …
