Job Summary We are seeking a passionate restaurant assistant manager to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure smooth operations at Ushidoki Wagyu Kaiseki, a renowned Japanese restaurant in Downtown Tanjong Pagar. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests warmly, guide them to tables, and ensure their dining experience exceeds expectations Provide attentive table service by serving dishes and promptly addressing guests’ needs Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods to offer informed recommendations to customers Set up and break down the dining area, ensuring cleanliness, adequate stock, and high presentation standards Collaborate and communicate closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and timely dish delivery Support the restaurant manager in daily operational tasks and complete additional duties as needed Preferred competencies and qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior service or supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-end restaurant setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers professionally and warmly Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings A positive, collaborative attitude and genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service Other Information Benefits Opportunities for career advancement and skills development Staff meals, uniform, and transportation provided for late closing shifts Off on Sundays and Public Holidays
