About this role

The Executive, Management Trainee is a structured 24 months development programme designed to develop high-potential graduates. The programme provides broad exposure to strategic planning, business transformation, corporate development, and business operations through structured rotational assignments and project-based learning. Trainees will work closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Group's businesses, investments, and strategic priorities. Throughout the programme, trainees will participate in meaningful projects, business improvement initiatives, and organisational priorities while receiving coaching, mentorship, and development support. Upon successful completion of the programme, trainees may be considered for permanent placement within Warees Group based on performance, demonstrated capabilities, and organisational needs. Key Responsibilities The Management Trainee willparticipate in structured rotations across business units and will beresponsible for: 1. Strategic Planning & Business Analysis Support strategic planning, business performance reviews, andorganisational initiatives across the Group. Conduct research, market scans, benchmarking studies, and data analysisto support business decision-making. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, dashboards, and management updates. Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvements and value creation. Contribute ideas and recommendations arising from rotational assignments and project work. 2. Cross-Functional RotationalAssignments Participate in structured rotations across selected business functions to develop a broader understanding of the Group's operations and value chain. Support ongoing projects, business initiatives, and operational activities within assigned departments. Deliver assigned work outputs, analyses, and project tasks within agreed timelines and quality standards. Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to gain exposure todifferent business perspectives and challenges. Develop an appreciation of how different functions contribute to the Group's overall strategic objectives. 3. Strategic Projects &Transformation Initiatives Support the implementation of business improvement, transformation, and organisational development initiatives. Assist project teams in gathering information, coordinating stakeholders, and monitoring project progress. Contribute to the preparation of project documentation, business cases,and presentation materials. Participate in problem-solving discussions and continuous improvementactivities. Support the execution of strategic initiatives undertaken by the Strategic Transformation Office. 4. Learning and Development Actively participate in training programmes, workshops, and professional development activities. Engage in mentorship and coaching sessions with assigned supervisors and business leaders. Demonstrate initiative in acquiring knowledge across different business functions and industries. Complete development assessments, reflection exercises, and programme requirements. Apply learning from rotational assignments to improve personal and professional effectiveness. Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised university with astrong academic record. Fresh graduates or candidates with up to three years of relevant workingexperience. Internship, project, leadership, volunteer, or extra-curricular experiences demonstrating initiative and problem-solving abilities will be advantageous. Skills & Attributes Strong analytical, conceptual, and structured problem-solving skills. High learning agility and adaptability across different business functions and environments. Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn from diverse experiences. Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Interest in strategy, business transformation, corporate planning ,organisational development, investments, real estate, or business operations.
