Technical Business Analyst (Cloud)

1-year contract, renewable Government project Hybrid work arrangement This is a hands-on Technical Business Analyst role, suited for candidates who enjoy working closely with engineering teams on cloud-based, agile digital products Key responsibilities Lead requirements gathering and technical analysis for digital products and platforms, working closely with business users, engineers, architects, and delivery teams to understand needs, constraints, and solution options. Translate business, operational, and policy requirements into clear functional and technical artefacts, including product requirements, user stories, process flows, data models, and integration specifications, with strong traceability across the delivery lifecycle. Analyse complex business and system problems using process mapping, data analysis, and impact assessments, recommending practical solutions that balance user needs, technical feasibility, cost, and cloud architecture considerations. Act as a bridge between business and technology teams in agile development environments, actively participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives Support solution design in cloud-hosted environments, working with technical teams to clarify requirements related to cloud infrastructure, security, scalability, performance, and integration with enterprise platforms. Design and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation strategies, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements, compliance needs, and quality standards Work closely with development teams post go-live to support production monitoring, analyse user feedback and system data, and drive continuous improvements to digital products.
