Project Manager (Public Sector)

3-year contract, renewable Hybrid work arrangement Government project RESPONSIBILITY Drive product success by bringing the product to users Understand HDB's business processes and partner with relevant stakeholders — including solution architects, software developers, and end users — in requirement gathering, system design, and application development & maintenance. Partner with the product manager to run sprint planning sessions, scrums, and retrospectives. Work closely with various technical, solution, and information architects to ensure that the application developed is robust and aligned with the Enterprise Architecture. Design solutions that are high quality and functional, ensuring a good user experience. Track and manage the development and maintenance of the application system to ensure timely delivery. Conduct and support thorough system, user, and security testing pre-release. Run user education campaigns to drive product adoption post-release. Provide product support and work with the product and engineering teams to identify and resolve bugs. Monitor the performance of the application and work with relevant stakeholders to troubleshoot issues surfaced in the production environment. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED Experience in building digital products. Proven track record of delivering effective products with limited resources. End-to-end experience working with a product team to build products. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation, minute-taking, and technical writing. Highly meticulous and tenacious, with the ability to follow through on tasks to closure. Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure, and to prioritise effectively to meet tight deadlines. Certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Business Analysis Professional are a plus. A degree or diploma in computer science, product management, or a related field is a plus. Experience in application design and development using technologies such as Java, JavaScript, and SQL is a plus. Experience with platforms such as Confluence, JIRA, and Balsamiq is a plus.
