Senior / Automation Engineer - Wcan

Responsibilities: Design and review mechanical layouts for warehouse automation systems using AutoCAD Integrate AGV, AMR, and shuttle systems within warehouse infrastructure Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues in automation equipment (e.g., AGVs, conveyors, AMRs) Support on-site installation, commissioning, and system testing Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery Supervise small teams or subcontractors and provide technical guidance Travel as required for site inspections, installations, and troubleshooting Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field. Basic understanding of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, sensors, and actuators. Exposure to PLC or automation systems is an added advantage. Strong practical knowledge in automation and control systems, electrical schematics, system integration, and mechanical troubleshooting. Demonstrated experience in project leadership or small team management. Strong analytical thinking and decision-making abilities. Open to travel and site-based work when required.
