Preschool Principal (East) - Wcdt

Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and vision for the preschool. Ensure compliance with ECDA licensing requirements and quality standards. Oversee curriculum planning and implementation aligned with MOE and ECDA guidelines. Lead, mentor, and develop teaching staff to maintain high standards of pedagogy. Manage enrolment, parent communication, and community engagement. Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational efficiency. Drive continuous improvement in teaching practices and school culture. Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for children’s holistic development. Requirements Qualifications : ECDA-recognised Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Leadership (DECCE-L) or equivalent. Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Experience : Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in early childhood education. At least 2 years in a leadership or management role within a preschool setting. Skills & Competencies : Strong knowledge of ECDA and MOE frameworks. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage operations, budgets, and staff performance. Passion for early childhood education and child development. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Other Requirements : Must meet ECDA’s regulatory requirements for centre leadership.
