About this role
Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation of quotations, SOPs, and operational terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and client requirements. Handle RFQs, tender bids, and review pricing and rates. Responsible for acquiring new customers and developing additional revenue streams from existing accounts. Achieve and surpass sales targets by contributing to departmental gross profit and revenue goals. Generate a minimum number of sales leads as set by management and successfully convert them into revenue-generating opportunities. Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, including customer details, sales visits, and progress updates. Identify and pursue potential customers and business opportunities to drive revenue growth. Negotiate pricing and terms within established guidelines to maximize profit margins. Respond promptly and professionally to customer communications and inquiries. Collaborate closely with Customer Service and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of customer quotations and agreements. Promote all company services and products, coordinating sales activities across departments. Gather and analyze market information to support overall business development during weekly and monthly sales meetings. Prepare and submit weekly sales progress reports to the supervisor. Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Management, or a related field in Logistics & Supply Chain Management. Preferably with 1–2 years of sales experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry Strong ability to identify, pursue, and develop new sales opportunities. Excellent communication skills to effectively present distribution services to both prospective and existing customers. Ability to understand customer needs and deliver compelling value propositions.
