About this role
Key Responsibilities Oversee the full spectrum of payroll administration for both staff and site-based workers. Validate payroll inputs, including attendance records, overtime, shift allowances, claims, deductions, and adjustments. Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements. Prepare payroll journals, reports, payslips, and reconciliation schedules. Manage CPF contributions, IRAS reporting, government submissions, and other payroll-related compliance matters. Maintain payroll databases and employee records, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity. Address payroll enquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner. Liaise with HR, Finance, project teams, and external agencies on payroll-related matters. Support payroll audits, compliance reviews, and process improvement initiatives. Keep abreast of changes in payroll legislation and recommend updates to payroll practices where necessary. Requirements Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field. At least 5 years of hands-on payroll experience, ideally in construction, manufacturing, engineering, or labour-intensive industries. Good understanding of Singapore payroll legislation, including CPF, IRAS, MOM, and Employment Act requirements. Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Advanced Excel skills and experience with HRiQ or other payroll systems preferred.
