What You'll Be Doing As a Kitchen Assistant , you'll play an important role in supporting our chefs and ensuring smooth daily kitchen operations. 🍽 Food Preparation Prepare fresh ingredients including washing, peeling, cutting, slicing, chopping, and portioning vegetables, seafood, meat, and poultry. Assist in preparing sauces, stocks, marinades, soups, and other ingredients according to company recipes and quality standards. Ensure ingredients are prepared and readily available before each meal service. Support basic cooking, plating, and garnishing under the guidance of experienced chefs. 👨🍳 Kitchen Operations Assist chefs during lunch and dinner service to ensure food is prepared efficiently and served on time. Replenish ingredients, sauces, and cooking supplies to keep kitchen stations fully stocked. Receive, inspect, and properly store food deliveries according to food safety procedures. Organise kitchen workstations and maintain efficient workflow throughout daily operations. 🧹 Food Safety & Kitchen Hygiene Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety throughout the kitchen. Wash and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, cookware, and preparation areas. Ensure proper food labelling, storage, and stock rotation (FIFO). Comply with all food hygiene, workplace safety, and company operating procedures. 🤝 Teamwork Work closely with chefs and fellow kitchen team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Support different kitchen sections whenever required. Contribute to a positive, respectful, and collaborative team environment. Perform any other duties assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor. We're Looking For Someone Who Has 1–2 years of kitchen experience , preferably in a Chinese, Asian, or Seafood restaurant. Candidates with less experience but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are welcome — training will be provided . Is hardworking, responsible, and able to perform well in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Has a strong team spirit and is eager to learn and grow. Understands basic food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
