Director - Credit Risk Solutions

The role is for a Director within our ‘Credit Risk Solutions’, Credit & Political Risk Insurance team, based in Singapore. This role will involve working in a team focusing on a broad base of Singapore and International Financial Institution clients. Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Taking responsibly for account management of key Financial Institution accounts; including broking/placement strategy, product development, portfolio management and expanding client relationships Working with existing clients to review their existing programs, presenting the best possible solutions and client outcomes Negotiation of policy wordings / contract reviews Contribute to delivery of our new business strategy and targets within the Global Line of Business Proactively lead initiatives for new and existing clients Attend and present at industry events and conferences in Singapore and throughout Asia Develop and maintain close relationships with the Insurers across the region Second pair of eyes check on client documentation Develop good working relationships and work closely with the main carriers in the region Qualifications A relevant bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in credit risk management, with a focus on structured credit products. Ability to work independently on a range of placements and take responsibility for key accounts. Problem solving and decision-making skills essential Excellent communication(written, verbal, oral & Presentation) skills and interpersonal skills essential. Must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment where lateral thinking, initiative, self-motivation and decision-making skills are crucial Proven leadership and mentorship skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a deep understanding of credit risk modeling and assessment. Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle a large workload and prioritize work effectively. Strong team player with good people skills. Professional certifications in credit risk management (e.g., PRM, FRM) are highly advantageous. Experience working with regulatory bodies and a solid understanding of compliance requirements. Proficiency in using credit risk analysis tools and software. A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving, with a track record of driving process improvements. Equal Opportunity Employer
