Purchaser (Construction Industry)

Job Responsibilities Source and procure materials, equipment and supplies for project requirements. Obtain quotations, compare prices and negotiate with suppliers. Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO). Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery. Work closely with the Storekeeper to monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials. Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation. Work closely with the project and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations. Requirements Minimum 3–5 years of purchasing experience. Experience in hardware, construction materials or related industries is required. Good negotiation and communication skills. Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Must be able to communicate effectively in Mandarin Chinese to liaise with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and suppliers. Preferred Qualifications Familiar with local suppliers in the construction or hardware industry. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Must be able to communicate effectively in Mandarin Chinese Work Details Working Days: Monday to Friday (5-day work week) Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Annual Wage Supplement (AWS)
