Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant. As a kitchen assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. This opportunity is perfect for those who have a passion for traditional dessert and are looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. We are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate initiative and possess strong teamwork skills. Responsibilities: Assist in meal preparation Portion food accordingly and store them in assigned containers and areas to keep them fresh. Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, and workstations. Help with inventory management and restocking supplies. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes and sweeping/mopping floors. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate meal service. Demonstrate initiative by actively seeking out additional tasks and taking on new challenges. Work effectively as part of a team, contributing ideas and supporting fellow team members. Take direction from the head chef and other senior kitchen staff. Other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned. Requirements: Passion for food and cooking. Possess food handler certificate (preferred, but not required) Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply as training, but with willingness to learn, are also welcome to apply as training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a positive attitude. Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and suggest improvements. Willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative work environment. Able to work independently.
