Build, Automate & Secure Enterprise Platforms We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join a high-performing infrastructure team responsible for the engineering, automation, and lifecycle management of enterprise Linux platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in large-scale environments and enjoys driving platform stability, security, and operational excellence across on-premises and cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Engineer, build, and maintain enterprise Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) platforms Manage OS certification, baseline configurations, system hardening, and lifecycle management Test, validate, and deploy security patches to maintain compliance and reduce vulnerabilities Ensure platform currency, performance, and operational stability across distributed environments Support large-scale server infrastructure across on-premises and cloud platforms Plan and execute VMware platform upgrades, including ESXi, vCenter, Aria Suite, and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Develop and maintain automation solutions using Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, or similar technologies Participate in infrastructure maintenance activities, including scheduled weekend patching and upgrades Produce and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks Support incident, problem, and change management processes within an enterprise environment Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7, 8, 9, and 10) Expertise in Linux server provisioning, administration, and OS lifecycle management Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Terraform Strong knowledge of VMware technologies including vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, Aria Suite, and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Experience with Red Hat Pacemaker Clustering and High Availability solutions Solid understanding of networking, storage, virtualization, and security principles Familiarity with ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management Preferred Experience Experience working within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure Experience supporting globally distributed enterprise infrastructure Knowledge of vulnerability management, compliance standards, and security frameworks Experience with large-scale enterprise platform operations Please reach out to co.co@ambition.com.sg with your updated resume and contact details.
