Trade Finance Manager

Job Summary Our client, a leading global commodities company, seeks a Trade Finance Manager in Singapore to manage trade finance operations supporting import and export activities. Responsibilities Manage the execution of Import and Export Letters of Credit (LC), LC confirmations, discounting, and guarantees to support trading activities Review and negotiate LC amendments by analyzing underlying contracts and coordinating with banks and internal stakeholders Act as the primary intermediary between operations teams and the bank’s LC functions as well as front-office units to ensure smooth transaction processing Monitor and follow up on all documentary processes and payment schedules to ensure timely completion and compliance Oversee daily financing needs related to the company’s trading activities, ensuring adequate funding and risk management Maintain meticulous attention to detail while managing multiple trade finance tasks in a fast-paced environment Required competencies and certifications Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade Finance or Structured Trade Finance within the Oil & Gas industry or banking sector Ability to multitask effectively under pressure and maintain accuracy in documentation and negotiation processes What you need to do now If you’re interested in this role, click ‘apply now’ to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to shenmim.quah@ambition.com.sg for a confidential discussion.
