New- 6 Months Finance Operations, Accountant (Legal Industry)

Job Responsibilities: · Process client and office account receipts and payments in compliance with client money regulations, internal policies, and delegated authorities. · Perform daily reconciliations of client and office accounts, maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements. · Monitor client money balances, investigate exceptions, support internal and external audits, and provide regional cashiering support across APAC when required. · Review and process supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding and compliance with GST, withholding tax (WHT), and company policies. · Manage payment runs and ensure timely settlement of vendor, client, and office account obligations. · Reconcile supplier statements, support month-end closing activities, and prepare accruals, prepayments, fixed asset schedules, and quarterly GST returns. · Review and process employee expense claims and corporate credit card reconciliations in accordance with company policies and tax regulations. · Review client billings to ensure accuracy, compliance with tax requirements, and adherence to billing policies. · Maintain accurate accounting records and strong internal controls, ensuring all transactions are properly authorized and supported by appropriate documentation. · Support regulatory reporting, internal and external audits, finance compliance activities, and respond to finance-related queries from internal stakeholders. · Drive continuous process improvements, support finance systems administration, and assist with ad hoc finance operational activities as assigned.
