Staff Nurse (Renal Dialysis)

Staff Nurse (Renal Dialysis) Responsibilities Participate in the assessment, implementation and evaluation of quality dialysis outcome. Perform Hemodialysis cannulation and treatment for patients according to the standards practice and guideline. Practise proper infection control procedures based on current infection control guidelines. Guide and direct the enrolled nurse level and below, to ensure that quality nursing care is rendered to patient at all times. Record informative, accurate and concise statement on the Hemodialysis treatment, blood results and Parameters. Administer intravenous antibiotics, IV Erythropoietin and Blood Transfusion during Hemodialysis treatment with standard of practice. Collect water sampling for water culture to maintain safe water standard guideline. Work closely together with respective hospital for blood investigation and follow up. Work closely with Dietician and educate patient on nutritional status and fluid compliance. Take appropriate nursing actions in emergency situations that compromise patient safety. Requirements Diploma in Nursing recognized by Singapore Nursing Board. At least 2 years of relevant working experience in dialysis center. Valid registration with Singapore Nursing Board. 5.5-day work week (including Saturdays and Public Holidays).
