HR Director Job Summary: The Human Resources Director is a strategic business leader responsible for developing and executing the organization’s people strategy in alignment with corporate objectives. The role oversees all aspects of human capital management, including talent acquisition, leadership development, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee engagement, succession planning, learning and development, industrial and employee relations, organizational design, workforce planning, HR operations, and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Human Resource Leadership Develop and implement the organization’s HR strategy aligned with business objectives. Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on all people-related matters. Lead organizational transformation and change management initiatives. Drive workforce planning to support business growth and future capabilities. Develop long-term talent strategies to ensure sustainable organizational success. Champion diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging initiatives. Establish HR metrics and dashboards to measure organizational effectiveness. Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding Develop innovative recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber talent. Build strong employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice. Oversee executive hiring and critical leadership recruitment. Optimize recruitment processes, reducing time-to-hire while maintaining quality. Build strategic partnerships with universities, professional associations and executive search firms. Talent Management and Succession Planning Design comprehensive talent management frameworks. Lead succession planning across key leadership positions. Identify high-potential employees and develop accelerated leadership programs. Conduct annual talent reviews with senior leadership. Implement career development frameworks and internal mobility programs. Learning and Leadership Development Develop enterprise-wide learning strategies. Build leadership capability through executive development programs. Promote continuous learning and professional development. Establish mentoring and coaching initiatives. Evaluate learning effectiveness through measurable business outcomes. Performance Management Design and manage high-performance management systems. Drive goal-setting and performance review processes. Coach senior leaders on performance management best practices. Address underperformance through structured improvement initiatives. Foster a culture of accountability, recognition and continuous feedback. Compensation and Benefits Develop competitive compensation strategies aligned with market benchmarks. Lead annual salary review and bonus planning exercises. Design executive compensation programs. Manage employee benefits and wellness programs. Ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
