About this role
Responsibilities Manage enquiries and bookings for function rooms from members,guests and corporate clients. Liaise with clients to understand their eventrequirements and prepare event proposals and quotations. Coordinate with the Banquet Operations team and otherdepartments to ensure events are executed smoothly and according to clients'requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with members, guests and corporate clients to encourage repeat business. Maintain accurate and up-to-date event bookings,client records and reservation schedules. Prepare sales reports and maintain proper documentation of events and sales activities. Conduct site inspections and assist clients throughout the event planning process. Provide on-site support during events, where required, to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Catering Sales Manager. Requirements Diploma in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in catering sales, events, banquets, hospitality or the club industry. Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills, with strong written and verbal proficiency. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines. Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and evenings when required to support Club events.
