Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job Summary Support daily restaurant operations by leading the service team, ensuring high service standards, managing inventory and costs, and delivering excellent customer experiences as Assistant Restaurant Manager. Responsibilities Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service delivery Lead and supervise the service team to provide efficient, professional customer service that enhances guest satisfaction Enforce compliance with company SOPs, food hygiene regulations, and workplace safety standards to maintain operational excellence Manage customer enquiries, feedback, and service recovery to uphold positive dining experiences Support staff recruitment, training, coaching, and performance evaluations to build a competent team Prepare staff duty rosters and monitor attendance to optimize workforce scheduling Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock ordering, and implement stock control measures to maintain supply accuracy Assist with cash handling, sales reconciliation, and daily closing procedures to ensure financial accuracy Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate operations and maintain service flow Monitor operational costs and contribute to achieving sales and profitability targets through effective management Take charge of restaurant operations during the Restaurant Manager’s absence to maintain continuity Perform additional duties as assigned by Management to support business needs Requirements Diploma or above in Hospitality, Business, or a related field Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in the Food & Beverage industry Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays Strong leadership and interpersonal skills demonstrated through team management and coaching Customer-focused communication and problem-solving skills applied in fast-paced restaurant environments Knowledge of restaurant operations, food hygiene, and inventory management practices We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
