Interior Fit-Out Technical Design Manager (Detailed Design)

Job Description The Interior Fit-out Technical Design Manager is responsible for leading the detailed design and technical coordination of interior fit-out projects from design development through construction and project completion. The role ensures that all design deliverables are accurate, coordinated, buildable, and compliant with project specifications, quality standards, and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the detailed design development of interior fit-out projects from design intent to construction documentation. Review and coordinate architectural, interior, structural, and MEP drawings to ensure design integration and constructability. Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of construction drawings, shop drawings, detailed drawings, and as-built drawings. Ensure all design deliverables comply with project specifications, applicable codes, client requirements, and company standards. Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve technical design issues. Conduct design coordination meetings and technical reviews throughout the project lifecycle. Review material submissions, mock-ups, finishes, and samples to ensure compliance with approved specifications. Support project managers and site teams by providing technical solutions during construction. Identify design conflicts and implement practical solutions to improve constructability and project efficiency. Ensure timely submission of drawings and technical documentation in accordance with project schedules. Manage design revisions, drawing control, and document management. Lead value engineering initiatives while maintaining design intent, quality, and cost objectives. Supervise and mentor technical designers, detailers, and BIM modellers to maintain high standards of design quality.
