About this role

A leading travel retail organisation is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of its retail outlets and corporate offices. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-presented environment by delivering preventive maintenance, coordinating repairs, and supporting day-to-day facilities operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for retail outlets and office facilities. Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs for electrical, air conditioning, plumbing, and other building-related issues. Conduct routine inspections to ensure facilities and equipment are operating efficiently. Coordinate and supervise contractors to ensure maintenance works are completed to required standards. Monitor workplace safety and ensure compliance with safety procedures and risk control measures. Maintain fixtures, fittings, and store equipment to ensure optimal condition. Support installation and maintenance of LED lighting, display fixtures, POP, and in-store promotional materials. Process maintenance-related purchase requests and support facilities administration. Key Requirements: NITEC or Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 1–2 years of facilities or maintenance experience, preferably within retail or commercial environments. Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and building maintenance. Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently. Valid Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certificate is an advantage. Willing to work across Changi Airport terminals and the Tampines office, with occasional overnight duties when required.
