Service Engineer – Gangway Key Responsibilities Travel internationally and offshore to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair advanced marine and offshore equipment Carry out installation, commissioning, testing, and acceptance activities at customer sites and onboard vessels Provide technical support and fault diagnosis remotely, delivering practical and customer focused solutions Conduct inspections, maintenance, and system performance assessments to ensure operational reliability Support product testing, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives Deliver technical training to vessel crews and customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures Prepare service reports, technical documentation, and recommendations following site visits Work independently in the field while collaborating closely with engineering and support teams Expect approximately 60% international travel and offshore assignments throughout the year Requirements Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Maritime Engineering, or a related discipline Ability and willingness to work offshore and travel extensively worldwide Willingness to be based outside of Singapore Experience on maintenance or troubleshooting of motorised/ hydraulic access gangways is a MUST (At least 5 years) Experience or exposure to electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems Knowledge of hydraulic systems would be advantageous Experience with PLC systems and software would be an advantage Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues Hands on approach with a proactive attitude Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment Strong communication skills and professional customer interaction Good command of spoken and written English Capable of working autonomously in remote locations and across different time zones What's on Offer Opportunity to work with advanced offshore and marine equipment on global projects Extensive international travel and offshore exposure Structured training and ongoing professional development Career progression opportunities within a growing international organisation Dynamic and technically challenging work environment Exposure to cutting edge technologies supporting the offshore energy and maritime sectors
