Crewing Superintendent (Ship Owner)

Responsibilities Plan, organise, and manage daily crewing operations in line with internal policies and procedures Coordinate with Technical and Marine teams to arrange interviews and selection of suitable deck officers and engineers Maintain accurate and up-to-date crew lists for all assigned vessels Manage and monitor crew documentation, including personal records, medicals, training, and certification validity Oversee crew mobilisation and demobilisation, including travel, visa applications, and accommodation arrangements Liaise closely with manning agents for crew scheduling and coordinate crew change ports Work with port agents to ensure smooth logistics for crew movements Review and verify invoices related to crew, travel, accommodation, visas, and manning services prior to finance processing Liaise with flag state administrations on crew-related matters Support audits and ensure crewing documentation is compliant and up to date Undertake additional duties as assigned Requirements Diploma/Degree in Maritime Studies or a relevant discipline Minimum 5 years of crewing experience. Good understanding of STCW, MLC 2006, and flag state requirements Experience coordinating with manning agencies and international crew Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vessels and schedules High attention to detail, particularly in documentation and compliance Good communication and stakeholder management skills
